PEER - REVIEW POLICY
The Journal for Legal and Management Research carefully considers all manuscripts that it receives. The Journal follows a double blind peer review process. That is, the identity of the author/s is strictly not be revealed to the reviewers and vice-versa.
The review process is two tiered, comprising of ‘Board of Editors’ and ‘Board of Advisors’, collectively referred to as ‘Editorial Board’. The Editorial Board comprises of illustrious professionals, lawyers, researchers, academicians, professors, members of bar and bench.
The JLMR double blind peer review policy is as under-
Submissiosns.– The Journal accepts submission Bi-annualy . The accepted manuscripts are published on Bi- annual basis in January and July of each year.
The Process.— JLMR shall follow the following steps before publication of any manuscript, namely-
Upon submission of the Manuscript by the author/s, the same is allotted to two Editors by the Editor-in-Chief if the manuscript appears prima facie eligible for consideration.
The Editors then review the manuscripts for compliance with style guidelines, plagiarism, its originality, quality, contemporary relevance and coherence and make written report
If the Editors are in concurrence, the manuscript is then forwarded to Members of Advisory Board for their opinion and consideration.
If the Members are in concurrence that the manuscript is eligible for publication, the manuscript will be published in earliest possible Issue of the JLMR.
Time Schedule. — The expected time of review process by Board of Editors is eight weeks . If the manuscript is deemed eligible for reference to Board of Advisors, the members are expected to give their opinion in four weeks.
Judgement Criteria. — The manuscript shall be judged on the basis of language, structure, contribution to existing literature, contemporary relevance, depth of research and other such relevant criteria.
